This 1969 Dodge Charger is powered by the 440 Magnum V8 engine rated for 375HP paired to a 4-speed manual transmission. This car is finished in the famous Hemi Orange just like the Dukes of Hazard Charger RT, which looks amazing! The 440 was fitted with a forged-steel crankshaft, a long-duration hydraulic camshaft, and an 800-cfm Carter AVS four-barrel carburetor. One feature that provided the sort of race-car vibe the R/T name evoked was the Rallye Instrument Cluster. It consisted of four auxiliary engine gauges set within individual round bezels to the right of the 150-MPH speedometer. Also included was an electric clock and rocker switches are used to control convenience equipment. This Charger is also equipped with power disc brakes, and a Sure-Grip limited slip differential. Many enthusiasts felt that the base R/T motor, the 440-cubic-inch Magnum V8 was nearly as quick as the HEMI and a better choice for regular street driving.
